They also do a great job sticking to the theme of each box based on the prefecture and what they’re known for.

For example, their Saitama box had colors of the popular, Shichi-mi tōgarashi (七味唐辛子, seven-flavor chili pepper). At the festivals in the town of Kawagoe, you will see many food stalls where they perform while packing up your spices to take home. You’ve got to see it yourself!
