Need a ride from airport to your accomodation?
Who needs this?
For those traveling with big families or big suitcases (music, sports, camera equipment etc.)
For those who need a ride from the airport. Too tired to bother.
For those who don’t want to deal with JR Passes or ticket counter (I truly hate it as well)
For those who hate public transportation or small taxis and want to ride in style
We travel a lot with our music and camera equipment… so we kinda use this service a lot.
Where is pick up at the airport?
Unfortunately, these drivers cannot park their car outside, meet you by the exit after customs and hold up a sign to greet you. They arrive solo, so you need to meet them outside at the curb.
They will usually arrive early, so don’t be afraid to contact them if you do arrive early as well.
The drivers are usually foreigners, but can speak Japanese very well.
Gratuity is appreciated, but not required.

Pick up from your accommodation
The booking process to pick up to drop off was very easy. These drivers are certified professionals and they drive the route beforehand to make sure they get to your place on time.
I also felt at ease knowing my expensive equipment would travel safely along with me.
