The most beautiful girl in Kimono at the park

If I ever become a mom, I would not stop crying at how beautiful my daughter looks in the kimono. It’s not about how pretty the kimono she’s wearing, it’s how she carries herself in the kimono. It’s the little details from the way she talks and walks, how calm she makes you feel in her presence, the way she smiles. Grace.

Ally captured the essence of wearing a Japanese kimono perfectly. My mom saw these photos and couldn’t stop complimenting how well it suited her. From her posture, color choice/ design, hair, to smile. She couldn’t be happier as a Japanese person to see how others enjoy Japanese culture.

Art Aquarium in Ginza

Ally understood the assignment!

I am so impressed at how Ally utilized our services at Cyber Bunny Tours. What sets us apart from other tours is that, we document and take “Instagram-worthy” content for our guests, so they don’t have to.

She carefully read the itinerary at pre-arrival, and planned everything perfectly so by the time we met for our second day, her hair, make-up and kimono were ready for the camera (well my iPhone 13 Max Pro).

There is no better location to take photos than at the Art Aquarium in Ginza.

We originally planned to get tickets for Ghibli Museum in Mitaka; however, it was booked out due to a private event. We even had our connections that work there confirm that it was not open to the public.

Thankfully, it worked out. Since photography was not allowed inside Ghibli Museum, our time was spent well at the Art Aquarium where we can take all the photos and videos our hearts desired.

I also learned that Ally’s father love goldfish! They said the Japanese gold fish are a lot bigger in size compared to the ones in the U.S. and the ones they have at home. There were so many types of species!

Timed it perfectly so the lights turned purple to match her kimono.

We left Ginza to go to Kichijoji

Kichijoji is a perfect getaway from the city. This town is where I run my errands, grab a meal with friends or do some personal shopping. It is such a wonderful town.

After working up a sweat in the Swan Boat, it’s time for lunch!

Inokashira Park has a curse. It is a popular myth that couples who ride on a boat in the lake are doomed to break up that week. Since Julie and Ally are blood, I think they are an exception LOL.

Hanami Picnic

Do what the Japanese do. Drink, eat and admire the Sakura.

We prepared a special Hanami Picnic, and picked the best spot under the white sakura cherry blossom trees and view of the lake.

Julie loves white wine since she was an owner of a wine business in California, so we got something that paired well with sushi and salad.

I also wanted her to try my favorite sparkling sake, Mio. It has a crisp muscat grape finish and is enjoyed chilled. I had to hold myself back from drinking too much! But I couldn’t leave Julie hanging, so I joined her for one glass… or two.

The ladies had a specific diet, so we gave them a lot of options of finger foods from department-store quality (not your average supermarket oh noooo because we’re bougie like that), from sandwiches to sushi to salads and fresh fruits. Since our appetite can change literally a few hours before we eat, it’s always best to pack more than not!

Plus, we are all nibblers.

Thankfully, Julie loved our selections and was sad she only had one tiny stomach LOL.

Store-bought strawberries hits different in Japan, don’t it?

“A mother-daughter moment”

Ally saved room for dessert! This sweet girl has a sweet tooth LOL.

Best Frozen Yogurt in Town

I promise you, you will not forget it.

Ally tried mango flavor!

“I’m allergic to cats, but I’ll go for my daughter…”

Julie is actually allergic to cats, so after 10 minutes… she was done! That is some seriously unconditional love because my own mother would not even stand a minute in there.

Julie ran next door to Don Qi Xote and experienced an intense sensory overload. She was able to buy a curling iron for Ally that could flat-iron AND curl. I also have one and it is amazing! Is there such thing in the U.S.? I no longer use my CONAIR.

Thank you for choosing to spend a second day with Cyber Bunny Tours! I had a fantastic time hosting you both on a picture-perfect Sakura day.

We also would like to thank Suzy from the All-Girl’s Trip for recommending us!
