Kamakura & Asakusa Tour Full Day 11/22-23/24
“I realized I wouldn’t be able to plan the entire trip by myself…”
After sharing details about the Japan trip I took with my wife and father in 2024, my mother, grandmother, and brother insisted on being my travel companions for a 2025 trip.
Considering the group's diverse interests and needs, I realized I wouldn’t be able to plan the entire trip by myself. That's when I remembered that Cyber Bunny, whom I'd been following on YouTube and Instagram for several years, had recently launched her own tour business in Tokyo.
Given her deep knowledge of Japan and fluency in the language, I was confident she could cater to our unique requirements. After our initial consultation, we opted for Bunny’s Asakusa tour package along with a custom tour to Kamakura, which is a picturesque city just beyond the outskirts of Tokyo.
The Asakusa tour would immerse my family in the cultural history of inner-Tokyo, while the Kamakura trip would offer a refreshing escape from the bustling capital and offer a glimpse into Japan’s serene countryside. During our trip to Kamakura, we strolled the gardens of Meigetsuin Temple and peered through the Window of Enlightenment (i.e., Satori no Mado), purchased souvenirs and artwork at the Shoei Yoh Art Museum, sipped matcha while overlooking the gardens of Hokokuji Temple, had a traditional Japanese lunch at Asabaya Main Shop, and went to see Buddha at Kotokuin Temple.
Finally, we ordered coffee and matcha from a local store before heading back to Tokyo and hence concluding an amazing first tour.
The second tour began with a peaceful morning stroll through Kiyosumi Garden, followed by a visit to the base of Tokyo Skytree and then onward to Asakusa. Our Asakusa adventure began at Hatcoffee, a delightful café specializing in 3D foam art (I chose Fuji-san!).
Next, we enjoyed a scenic rickshaw ride through the historic streets of Asakusa before indulging in street food and an enjoyable lunch nearby. We then visited the wonderous Sensoji Temple, where we prayed, learned of our fortune, and purchased omamori. To conclude one magnificent day, we explored the quaint arrangement of nearby shops before Bunny graciously arranged for transport to our next destination.
Bunny is a truly wonderful person who shows genuine care and compassion for those around her. Throughout our travels, she gave special attention to my grandmother’s limited mobility, tailoring the itineraries to accommodate her comfortably. She also made it a priority to address the unique needs and interests of each member of our group. Bunny went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was an unforgettable experience that we would cherish forever.
I wholeheartedly recommend Cyber Bunny Tours to absolutely anyone seeking a personalized and unforgettable private tour of Tokyo and its surrounding areas!
Asakusa Tour Half Day 9/26/24
“Personable, skilled and knowledgeable with a personality that feels like she’s been your friend for years...”
My wife and I have lived and traveled worldwide for many years. We have visited and toured
big and small – from UNESCO world heritage sites to small communities across many countries
with tours and tour guides of every possible style.
In September we had the opportunity to visit Tokyo. I searched for a local guide who might
enrich our experience during the short time we had to see Tokyo. I found a tour guide with the
Unlikely name “Cyber Bunny” I discovered that She was named by Forbes Magazine one of the
30 under 30 in Asia in Media, Marketing and Advertising in 2022.
In her online media platforms she sings, does comedy skits and performs teaching about Japan’s
culture and traditions with humor and skill, bridging the gap between Japan and the rest of the
world. Born in Hawaii (where we lived for 6 years – once a Hawaiian always a Hawaiian) she
speaks both English flawlessly and Japanese.
I cannot recommend her any more highly. Personable, skilled and knowledgeable with a
personality that feels like she’s been your friend for years. She assisted us in our travel photos
and in each and every photo she looks like a professional model out of a travel brochure. Of
course, her persona that she has developed for her enterprise is dressed in a Kimono (very
Japanese) and a platinum wig with bunny ears (not very Japanese), but she never looked out of
place as we toured. If you want an incredible value, Cyber Bunny should be your choice. This is
not your bargain basement tour guide, however. She is worth every penny of the fee she charges
for personal tours.
Asakusa Tour Full Day 4/24/24
(lots of 4s here 😀)
“…we had nothing but giggles and smiles all the way…”
My sister and I have always dreamed of visiting Japan since we were kids. Everything about Japan was beautiful to us: the language, history, culture and fashion and food (including the famous anime and kawaii culture).
My sister and I booked a lot of places in Tokyo to explore, but we knew we would need a day tour in Tokyo with the help of someone who could take us places and show us how to have fun off the beaten path and discovering hidden gems.
That’s how I came across Cyber Bunny’s tour on instagram. I was already following her posts and love her fashion style, her sense of humor and how she was giving tips on how to explore parts of Tokyo and different parts of Japan.
Reaching out to Cyber Bunny was easy and she was so happy and just as excited as we were. She showed us what tour packages she offered and we picked the Asakusa & Harajuku full day tour, because I felt like it covered all the things my sister and I wanted to do.
Meeting CB in person was a lot more than what we expected because we all clicked so well and we spent our whole tour laughing and had so much fun from the moment we met at our hotel to the taxi ride to our first stop at the Kaminarimon “Thunder Gate” to the green tea cafe, fun shopping for souvenirs in Kappabashi to the cute pets cafe we popped by.
Everything was fun-filled and colorful, and even though it was raining from the morning until the end of our tour, we had nothing but giggles and smiles all the way.
One of the many things I really want to thank Cyber Bunny for was taking good care of us, as my sister and I’s religious dietary practices meant we had to avoid a lot of places that had food and snacks with pork ingredients, but we found a lot of tasty alternatives which were just as fun and authentic in Japanese flavor!
I seriously suggest anyone who wants a fun filled day with someone as sweet, informative and friendly as Cyber Bunny.
